Overview
75 Ω coaxial S/PDIF digital cable with RCA terminations. The 75 Ω characteristic impedance matches the S/PDIF interface specification; impedance mismatches between cable and interface produce reflections that increase jitter at the DAC.
Higher bandwidth ceiling than optical TOSLINK — supports 24-bit / 192 kHz cleanly with headroom, plus DSD-over-DoP. The electrical connection means it doesn’t break ground loops the way optical does.
