Overview
Star-ground termination box for turntable + phono-stage ground loops. Single 4 mm binding-post input accepts the turntable’s ground wire and chassis-grounds it through a 1 Ω carbon-film resistor to a 1.5 kg copper mass — the “floating ground” reference technique used in studio-grade vinyl rigs.
Reduces the residual hum that survives the standard “ground wire to the back of the phono stage” arrangement, particularly on turntables with shielding-deficient tonearm wiring.
Pairs with the MM/MC phono stage. Not useful in headphone-only or digital systems.
