Overview
Open-jaw 8 mm spade terminals for binding posts. Same pure-copper-with-24K-gold-plating construction as banana plugs but with a U-shaped open jaw that bolts directly under a binding-post nut, eliminating the friction-fit contact point of bananas.
Audibly indistinguishable from banana plugs in measurements; mechanically more secure for permanent installations (rack-mount, wall-mount), and lower-profile aesthetically.
