Cryogenically Treated Copper (Deep Cryo OFC)

OFC copper subjected to deep cryogenic treatment (slow descent to -195°C in liquid nitrogen, soak, slow ramp back to room temperature). The treatment relieves residual stresses in the crystal lattice from the original drawing process; the audible result is a small but consistent improvement in transient detail.

Most credible application is in mains-power cables and AC-side components where the long conductor length and the dirty signal environment amplify even small lattice-stress benefits. Diminishing returns in short interconnect runs.
