Overview
PCB-mount 4.4 mm Pentaconn jack — the source-side counterpart of the NBP1-14-B cable plug. Hybrid through-hole + surface-mount footprint with positive mechanical retention to the chassis.
Designed for direct PCB mounting in DAPs, dongle DACs and desktop amplifier outputs. Internal switch contacts on the L+/R+ pins (optional in the -J variant) allow detection of plug insertion for automatic source-routing logic in modern devices.
Specified inside the reference portable DAP and the integrated DAC + amp as the 4.4 mm output jack.
