Closed-back dynamic studio monitor headphone with a 45 mm beryllium-coated dynamic driver and a sealed earcup designed for tracking and noisy-environment monitoring. Sensitivity is 97 dB/mW into 80 Ω — the same sweet spot as the open-back midrange but with 24 dB of passive isolation.
Designed for monitoring with consistent tonality across genres rather than entertainment-focused V-shaped tuning. The 8 Hz – 35 kHz bandwidth is extended for a closed-back; the sealed cup behavior is well-damped (no boomy resonance peak) thanks to internal acoustic foam.
Pairs naturally with the desktop integrated DAC + amp for studio use and the compact balanced DAP for portable tracking. Replacement lambskin pads are a popular upgrade once stock pads compress.
