Overview
Classic open-fit flathead earbud — sits in the concha rather than the ear canal, no seal, completely non-isolating. A 15.4 mm titanium-coated dynamic driver delivers the deep, wide soundstage that earbud devotees prize over the more focused presentation of in-ear monitors.
150 Ω impedance with 108 dB/mW sensitivity makes it the rare earbud that scales with amplifier quality. Fine on a phone dongle; better on the compact balanced DAP; surprisingly competent on a desktop amp.
For comfort during multi-hour use the open-fit design is uniquely good — there’s no canal pressure at all. The trade-off is essentially zero isolation, which makes it the worst-possible choice for transit and the best-possible choice for the office.
