Overview
Tribrid flagship IEM: one 9 mm dynamic driver for sub-bass, four balanced armatures for midrange and treble, and two Sonion electrostatic super-tweeters above 8 kHz. Three driver topologies, each placed where it excels — the technical apex of universal-IEM engineering.
Pentaconn Ear detachable connector at the earpieces ensures connector wear isn’t the failure mode after years of cable rolling. 18 Ω / 106 dB/mW. The EST tweeters extend cleanly to 60 kHz with mass three orders of magnitude below a BA, which is why the top octave sounds vanishingly low-distortion.
The right cable matters more here than on simpler IEMs because of the EST tweeter’s voltage-bias requirement — the monocrystal silver IEM cable is the canonical pairing. Driver-topology context in our driver types guide.
