Overview
Bookshelf-monitor isolation pucks with constrained-layer damping. A two-stage rubber-and-aluminum sandwich decouples the speaker cabinet from the desk or shelf, preventing the resonant transmission that smears bass transients.
Most audible on near-field monitors at desktop listening distances: the bass tightens, the midrange becomes more focused, and (counter-intuitively) the perceived bass weight initially decreases because the room-mode reinforcement disappears.
Per-puck load rating is 4 kg. Pairs with the active near-field monitor and the passive bookshelf speaker. Larger speakers use the GAIA-style isolator below.
