Overview
Viscoelastic polyurethane memory-foam tips — the Comply-style standard. Compress the tip between thumb and forefinger, insert into the ear canal, and let it expand back over 30–60 seconds to fill the canal geometry. The resulting fit is custom-mold-like and the foam structure mildly damps high frequencies, producing a warmer presentation.
Passive isolation is the highest of any universal tip family — typically 30 dB broadband — and the foam compliance distributes contact pressure evenly across the canal, which most users rate as the most comfortable option for multi-hour sessions.
Service life is short: 4–6 weeks of daily use before the foam loses memory. For a silicone alternative with similar isolation but indefinite lifespan see triple-flange silicone; for a hybrid see foam-silicone hybrid tips.
