Overview
Narrow-bore silicone tips with a ~3.5 mm inner bore. The constricted opening creates Helmholtz-resonator behavior at the IEM nozzle, lifting sub-bass extension by 2–3 dB at 30 Hz while damping a couple of dB of upper treble.
Useful on bright-leaning IEMs that need warmth without changing the IEM itself, and on multi-BA designs where the lack of dynamic-driver bass benefits from extra low-end reinforcement.
