Overview
Eight-core OCC copper headphone cable. 24 AWG conductors in a litz braid, terminated in 4-pin XLR balanced — the de-facto desktop-headphone-amp standard. 2 m length is standard; 3 m available for tall desks and shelf-mounted amps.
L+ on pin 1, L- on pin 2, R+ on pin 3, R- on pin 4 per the de-facto headphone XLR4 wiring (independent of the AES48 microphone wiring of XLR3). For 4.4 mm Pentaconn termination at the source see the 4.4 mm Pentaconn variant.
The canonical pairing with the classic 300 Ω dynamic and the desktop headphone amplifier.
