Overview
Standard medical-grade silicone ear tips in a universal five-size kit (XS / S / M / L / XL). The closed-cell silicone wall produces a predictable seal across most ear-canal geometries and damps almost nothing in the audible band, which is why every IEM manufacturer ships a variant of this tip as the baseline reference.
Wall thickness is around 0.4 mm and the inner bore is sized for typical 5 mm IEM nozzles. The single-flange geometry is the easiest tip to evaluate an IEM with, since it does not add the bass boost of a deep-seal triple-flange or the treble damping of memory foam. If your IEM sounds tonally wrong on silicone tips, the IEM is the problem — not the seal.
Pairs naturally with most IEMs in the database including the Reference Single-Dynamic IEM and the Multi-BA IEM. For a foam alternative see slow-recovery foam tips; for wider-bore variants see wide-bore silicone below.
